California Labor and
Workforce Development Agency
The California Department of Labor and Workforce Development and all of its departments, are responsible for protecting and aiding the California workforce. With COVID-19 having touched every aspect of Employers and Employees, this has been a huge challenge.
With constant changes to county and city rules and regulations regarding COVID-19, the CA Labor and Workforce Development Agency (LWDA) found itself in need of a tool that would gather all relevant information and organize it according to each user’s needs.
The solution? The Citizen360 oNavigator.
Communicating COVID-19 Reopening Guidelines through the Citizen360 oNavigator
Within three months, OSaaS created and implemented the Citizen360 oNavigator, a solution that collects all of user specific COVID-19 reopening information, and displays it in one easy-to-use portal, for downloading or printing. The oNavigator starts by taking the user through a guided quiz that determines the guidelines applicable for their business or sector. Within as little as 5 minutes, businessowners can obtain the accurate and current information about COVID rules and regulations their businesses must follow, and share with their employees. No need to search various websites and weed out the information that applies to them, it’s all done for them through the oNavigator.
The oNavigator subscription includes several customizable parts: a public-facing portal where a quiz narrows down the information users seek; a report-building feature that presents the information in a clear presentable format; an internal administrator portal that allows the LWDA Administrator to update and refine the guidance rules and information; an analytic engine that reviews usage and provides ongoing improvement suggestions; and ongoing support from the experienced OSaaS Team.
“OSaaS leadership was key in the development of the framework and infrastructure but also in terms of figuring out how to incorporate all of the pieces. It is not only about putting the information out there one time; it is about ensuring that we keep the information updated as well and I think the partnership there was very helpful.”
